Xcalak is one of the last virgin areas in the Mexican Caribbean in the southern Mayan coast.
How to get there
From Cancun by car: take the Cancun-Chetumal No. 307 highway to the junction with the Mahahual highway. Then take that road to the junction with the Xcalak highway and from there continue on this highway until you arrive to Xcalak.

Here you can dive and admire the beautiful corals, enjoy fine beaches and try both traditional and international cuisine. We recommend wearing lightweight clothing, a hat, sandals or sneakers, and bringing sunblock, bottled water and insect repellent. Don’t forget to respect the area you’re visiting and keep it clean.
