More info

One of Mahahual’s main attractions is it’s proximity to Banco Chinchorro, an atoll designated as a nature reserve and the second-largest barrier reef in the world (after the Great Barrier Reef in Australia). This reef is located in the Caribbean Sea across from Quintana Roo’s and Belize’s coasts, and has an enormous amount of biodiversity, which attracts many divers. You can also surround yourself with big expanses of virgin jungle.
